I am happy to say that so many people were involved in it and that they respected the people that were doing it. We had 81% of the school joined us in it.
The day of silence is when we support the people that can not speak for themselves and we show people that we need to stop the bulling and that people need to help the people that are to afraid to do it them selves. We as a GSA we want the people that are to afraid to express themselves, in a school or in any other place to now that they can be safe if people make it that way, instead of making people feel bad or they feel afraid to speak and have to think about what they have to say before they say it.
The Day Of Silence
Black- totally silent.
Purple- support but write.
green- support $5 dollars and talk all day.
and people had of choice to do none of them.
Our school is small and we are in new haven, CT and i really don't want to leave at all. yeah we have chickens, ducks, sheep, and goats even a cat and dog but i love them all any way. we are an ecology(environmental) school and we don't have a gym so we use the woods instead.

Our school has done it i believe three years in a row and the first years was not bad but people kept trying to make people to speak.
The second year was good but er had less people do it and we had used empathizes.
This year was so amazing and we wanted to do an all school assemblies at the end of the day and break the silence all together and it was like (wow). i was kind of freaked to be in front of 150-160 kids and teachers too but thank god i had mommy(Alexis), Kevin,Keith, and my two sisters Aurora, and Tami with me up their and we are the members of the GSA and the pride we have for being the members too. (we all were dressed in black and we did not speak at all.)
After school i had stayed to do some work for senior seminar and the things the my Principal had to say about it was amazing and i am glad he supported us through it. We had the guess speaker say that he was proud of us for doing it and i had seen him when Ms. Cox was telling him about what we were doing and he did not look at me funny but with happiness and pride, which made my happy and feel up with PRIDE.
Thank you all for doing this for us and we do appreciate it.
Love, Cynthia

"I don't know if I ever told you this, but my grandfather, he died in a concentration camp.
Oh, Smelly, that's terrible. I didn't know that.
How did he die?
He fell off the watchtower."

I would have decorated my home with the colours of snow and ice, had the paint been able to capture the magic of said colours...
